to get to Greece
All
travelers planning to visit Greece may contact the Greek National
Tourism Organisation offices
abroad for tourist information, brochures, maps etc.
Otherwise, they may contact the nearest Greek
Embassy or Consulate.
Independent travelers willing to book
a reservation for accommodation and other services in Greece (i.e.
rent-a-car, cruises, ship companies, yacht brokers, guides etc.) should
contact the relevant associations
or unions
Airport Access
Located 27km northeastern of Athens, the new Athens International
Airport, is accessible via Attiki Odos, a six-lane motorway constituting
the Athens City Ring Road. Public transport is provided by express
airport bus connections with Athens center and the port of Piraeus on a
24 h basis, ensuring efficient transport of air travelers and
facilitating linkage to key tourist attractions.

Sea
Several ports in Greece are considered busy -by any standards-
accommodating sailings of passenger ships, cruise ships and freighters.
The ports of Piraeus,Patras, Thessaloniki and Heraklion are all
convenient embarkation points to set sail on a Mediterranean cruise or
ferry to Italy, Israel,Egypt or the Black Sea.
Railway
RAILWAY
STATIONS IN ATHENS : There are two railway stations. Larissa and Peloponnissos R.S. From
Larissa R.S one can take the trains to Northern Greece. From
Peloponnissos R.S one can take the trains to Southern Greece and O.S.E
buses abroad.
LARISSA R.S: To get there one can take the trolley bus no.1 from
Venizelou (Panepistimiou) Str., as well as the "METRO" Line 2
"Syntagma->Sepolia"
PELOPONNISSOS R.S: To get there one can take bus No 057 from
Venizelou (Panepistimiou) Str. (from 05.30 to 23.30 every 15'). Fare:150
